Early Life
Sumbul was born into a Muslim family in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She lived in Katni Madhya Pradesh until she turned six. When she was six years old, her parents were separated. So, her father took her along with her younger sister Saniya to Delhi, where they lived for six years. They both were raised by her father as a single parent. By profession, her father was a dance choreographer in Delhi. She and her siblings used to perform in their father, choreography, Ram Leela and Krishna’s plays. These shows developed an interest in herself for dancing and acting. When her father got to know about her interest and talent in dancing the family went to Mumbai.
